Asbury Park Fenced Off

 

I went to Asbury Park the weekend after Thanksgiving. Most of the town was okay but the beach area was completely fenced off. All the small shops were being cleaned up and renovated.

I bummed around the Florida Keys for a few days with BDW for his birthday. We rented bikes and rode all around the old town area. There's an old cemetery in the middle of town that really reminded me of the New Orleans cemeteries. In fact, the old town section really reminds me of New Orleans, minus the great live music and fantastic New Orleans cooking.
