NYPD Action on the Hudson

After the fireworks tonight, there were a lot of sirens and this NYPD Riverside Park and there was a police boat there too. I'm not sure what they were looking for. I haven't seen anything on the news.

July 4th Fireworks

I watched the fireworks from my roof. They were lower this year so it was hard to see as much as in previous years.

The wind blew the smoke upriver and after awhile it was pretty hard to see. It started burning my eyes so I went in.

Day 1: New Office

I'm going to take a photo a day and do the 365 Photo Challenge. Here's my first entry.

 



I spent yesterday setting up my new office in my apartment. I took this photo with my ipad. There's a bit to do but it feels comfortable so far.

UPDATE: I've moved the 365 posts to a tumblr account called whirligig365.

Inspiration

I found these in a little antique store in Key West. I'm going to Hawaii in August and thought they'd serve as inspiration so they're by my desk at home.
