The Blessing of the Animals
I attended the Feast of Saint Francis at the Church of St. John Divine Cathedral to watch the Blessing of the Animals. Here's a slideshow of just a few of the blessings. There were animals great and small there, including:

cats

Man with Cat
This is my uncle. He adopted a very sweet cat from the shelter. They were made for each other.
