Guernica and Polyamory

I'm watching a movie about Francoise Gilo, one of Picasso's lovers. Picasso was polyamorous. At one point, his second wife told him to choose between her and his then girlfriend. Clearly his wife was not polyamorous. Picasso told them that he liked both of them equally, that he had no complaints and to fight it out between themselves. So they did.

The movie has this crazy scene where Picasso is up on some scaffolding painting Guernica and these two women are below him fighting it out to see who will get him. Cuh-razy.
